This is a hillside house consisting of three separate volumes stepping down the slope, linked together with a butterfly roof. The lower level volumes are cut into the hillside to reduce the impact on the context and overall mass while giving the house a connection to the site, by allowing the interiors to extend out to the site.   The building forms are rendered in poured in placed concrete, while the roof and connecting elements are of corten steel.                                                                            back to projects
